On the morning of December 12, a work meeting on formulating a special plan to further empower the core mining business of China MCC was held at the Chongqing CISDI Tower. Xiao Peng, Vice President and member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of China MCC, attended the meeting and outlined the work plan.
The meeting emphasized the need to: first, enhance strategic awareness and fully grasp the critical importance of formulating the special plan. Thoroughly empowering the core mining business and systematically building a service framework for the metal industry are critical pathways for China MCC to provide robust support for the Group Company’s strategic objectives. Second, adopt a "Big Mining" perspective and continuously strengthen the capacity to serve the metal industry. Identify strategic entry points and focal areas within the metal mining sector, be guided by value creation, aim to resolve key industry challenges, and systematically develop comprehensive capabilities. Third, intensify scientific research and address critical challenges, fully leveraging the Group Company’s institutional strengths in technological innovation. Advance the launch of major projects, increase R&D investment, consistently drive collaborative innovation, and foster a mutually beneficial ecosystem with mining enterprises.
The meeting focused on in-depth discussions regarding the drafting of the special plan outline and related work. Xiao Xuewen, leader of the special plan writing group, Party Secretary and Chairman of CISDI, along with responsible personnel from China MCC's headquarters and relevant subsidiaries, including Guo Wencai and Zhang Yandi, participated in this meeting.
