From August 10 to 14, 2025, Zhu Guangxia, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China MCC, led a team to Kuwait for short-term work. He will carry out a series of business activities, promote the marketing of key tracked projects, and investigate and offer guidance on the market development in Kuwait.
Zhu Guangxia paid a visit to Liu Xiang, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait, and both sides had exchanges on MCC's business development in Kuwait. Liu Xiang welcomed Zhu Guangxia and his parties. He appreciated MCC's achievements in Kuwait, and expressed his hope that MCC would continue to participate in major cooperation projects between China and Kuwait.
From the 11th to the 12th, Zhu Guangxia paid separate visits to Abdul Latif, Kuwaiti Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Housing, Semih, Deputy Minister of the Foreign Affairs in charge of Asian Affairs, and Nasser, Deputy Director of the Housing Welfare Agency of Kuwait, and held friendly talks with them on cooperation in major projects in Kuwait.
During their stay in Kuwait, Zhu Guangxia conducted field research of projects including the RA259 Highway, the Medical Insurance Hospital, the College of Petroleum and the College of Science and Technology of the University Town. He encouraged the project teams to fulfill contracts with high quality, summarize experience, and do a good job in the three phases of operation: market development, on-site management and project handover. In addition, Zhu Guangxia organized and held a scheduling meeting for major projects, arranging for the follow-up marketing and implementation of the projects.
Relevant principals from MCC Headquarters and its subsidiaries, including Liu Anyi, Zhu Xiaofei, and Wang Bo, participated in the aforementioned activities.
