From July 2 to 4, Zhu Guangxia, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China MCC, went to Hong Kong for short-term work. During this period, he met with Qi Bin, Deputy Director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, carried out a series of business activities, and conducted investigation and guidance on the operations in the Hong Kong region.
Zhu Guangxia expressed his gratitude to the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for its long-term strong support for MCC's development in Hong Kong. He stated that MCC would continue to deepen its presence and expand the Hong Kong market, and make new contributions to promoting economic exchanges and cooperation between Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland. Qi Bin affirmed the achievements made by MCC in developing its business in Hong Kong. He expressed the hope that MCC could seize the new round of development opportunities in Hong Kong in the near future and play a greater role as a central enterprise in promoting Hong Kong's economic construction, social development and improvement of people's livelihood.
During his stay in Hong Kong, Zhu Guangxia paid a visit to Chen Guoji, Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and held work talks with him. He paid a visit to Wu Long, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICBC Asia, to consolidate the strategic cooperation between MCC and ICBC Asia. Zhu Guangxia also presided over a special project meeting to study and arrange the bidding for key track projects in the near future. In addition, Zhu Guangxia led a team to check the Hong Kong Building Project and put forward requirements for the safe construction and high-quality performance of the project.
Persons in charge of the Overseas Engineering Department of China MCC and its subsidiaries, including Zhu Xiaofei and Wang Bo, participated in the above-mentioned activities respectively.
